Can't believe those trout can breed and survive in such a small shallow lake but you caught some decent ones bruh! I was waiting for you to MacGyver up a fishing stick when the rod busted and go for a survival catch and cook lol but maybe next time. Great job and more brookies please!

@@bassntroutfishing Nice brookies. Brook trout cannot reproduce in lakes. It is not likely that they are wild-though there is a chance those little streams allow them to spawn.

Ponderosa pines are one of the dominant conifer species in california as well as Douglas fir. But we have a mix of incense cedar, white fir,red fir,and my favorite the sugar pine. Sugar pines have huge cones and the trees regularly attain 125-200ft. I've noticed colorado is mostly pinyon pine, juniper, spruce snd aspen. Colorado's trees aren't quite as impressive as pacific states trees but the mountains and trout fishing you guys have are outstanding. Stuck in texas heat longing for another Colorado trip. Got my pb smallmouth bass yesterday which is nice but I'd much rather be in the mountains catching trout. Maybe a few Paychecks later

When you're fishing spinning boats like roostertails or spoons you need to tie a swivel on it'll keep your line from twisting and give you a better presentation in the water.
