Hey Steve, try wiping your grill grate with some olive oil before you start cooking (after it gets hot). Helps with sticking.

Catch and cook. Perhaps your best fillet job ever ! There is a large chunk of meat above the eye . Never seen anyone make bamboo skewers before, we buy them of .01 cents each ! Soak skewers in water and they do not burn. I would enjoy tasting them.

Hi Steve, haven't been around for a while. Catch and cooks are looking great as always. Question, what do you with the eggs from the fish. My father would cook and eat them all the time but I never got to taste them. Being just a kid back then it would seem disgusting to me 😂

I am going to use it for Mutton Snapper bait. They love roe. You can dry them out with salt like the italians. Or mix them up raw with a raw egg and eat with rice Japanese style. Or on top of Sushi. Only fresh though.

Since you used bamboo from your yard I assume, usually you soak the sticks first to stop from burning. Is that that not necessary because of the thickness? Or you just didn't cook long?
