This is no exaggeration for any reasons I may like your channel, but hands down you are the best fishing tuber out their! Theirs none of the new school editing etc. just solid fishing ,preparing,catching and cooking! I think the reason your so unique is because out of all the channels you are the most mellow,informative and YOU STICK TO THE BASICS! And that's especially important for anybody coming into this sport. People see all the other videos of people doing crazy crap to catch fish and then they see your channel and see how simple things can really be! Keep doing you man, stay true to who you are. Us as your fans are gonna have your back!

Glad you finally ate an Almaco. In your other vids you treated them almost as if they were a nuisance. That fillet tells the true story. You would be hard pressed to find a prettier piece of fish. You should be happy you have so many of them down in your neck of the woods. Up here it is 99% amberjacks that break your back and are closed most of the time.

Just an FYI, if you still have your hero 4 case, with that touchscreen back, your hero 3 will fit in it, and allow the sound to come through. You may have sent the case in with the camera for repair, but just in case.
@goombamike49897 жыл бұрын
The fillets look delicious. A while ago, I put up the question about why you threw back many of the Amberjacks and your viewers commented that they were full of parasites and worms, basically a trash fish. Are there differences between Almaco Jacks and Amberjacks? They both look like good eating fish.

on a scale of one to ten, how scared are you of sharks when kayak fishing? (especially around wrecks.) I'm not much of a fisherman, I use a kayak alot like you, but I'm absolutely terrified of sharks. Follow up: do you have any methods for dealing with a fear of sharks?

Methoyl Mercury is a huge problem now. The oceans have become more and more toxic over the years. At some point in the next 100 years living fish will be to toxic to eat by man kind. It's already that way in most lakes where you are advised to eat 3 ounces of fish no more than once a month, some places it's every 3 months.
