I use to catch coolers full of white bass on Lake Erie with my grandpa, using Shysters, Mepps and Roostertails. They seemed to run in schools and as fast as you could catch one and get your line back in the water, you would have another. Great action until the school moved out of the area. It didn’t take long to catch enough for a family fish fry. Now, I’m the grandpa, teaching my grandson and still learning from your tutorials. Thank you for your videos Richard. I have recently acquired some blade baits and Kastmaster spoons and will give them a try.

Dang!! I've seen hooks like that but never realized how much you could avoid snags with them. Always wondered why the heck anyone would want two hooks over a treble hook. One of my favorite fishing holes I lose a lot of blade baits and keep getting more and more hesitant to throw them in that spot but there's so many fish that bite there (still trying to drag in a Walleye in that spot). I'm gonna get me some of those frog hooks!! 😁 (already have like 50 blade baits lolol) I recently fell in love with throwing blade bait this fall and have been at it even all through the Winter as we had a really mild one for the most part here in Michigan. Thanks a bunch!!! 🤩

I Carolina rig them with a a two ft leader and a 1 or 2 ot eagle claw gold hook fish them on the river ledge or sandy flats .

I love jigging with a swim jig or flipping jig. The way theyre designed especially a flipping jig the soft plastic will present its self in an upright position for a bass to see as well as smell with good attractant. Like procure i know richard wouldnt be a fan of procure because they use live minnows, shad or creyfish and nightcrawlers to create there attractant. I love it i tell you what fish will bite because its the real deal on your soft plastics 😊❤

I look forward to every video. My fishing season is starting in Indiana, and I just wanted to let you know. I've done fairly well the past few years with some nice Bass and numerous Crappies (I still use the Eagle Claw Rods that I bought after watching your earlier videos). I have eight of those, all in the ultra-light series, and then ya get rich and buy those custom jobs (I want one and will try and get one this year. You rascally rabbit, your videos will put this retiree further into the poor house. I have here a jig there a jig cause ole Richard catches fish with them. My favorite spinning reel is the Shimano Spirex. I have two of all three sizes. My favorite bait casters are the Abu Garcias of all sizes, even with some collector items. Oh well, I've been stuck in the house with sickness, and this old tired 72-year-old fart ain't gots nuttin' else to do...but I'll quit. Thanks again for another "adrilligin" inspired video. Oh yeah, and may the good LORD take a likin' to ya.
