Your GoPros field of view is what makes the fish seem so small. If you had a way to lower your FoV it would help video depth perception as well as showing how big your fish are!

First time watching your channel! I’ve been using the same method in a pond by my house. We have been pulling out toads using craws on the slow finesse retrieve.

You're correct. It's because its in superview. Your holding the bass away from the chesty so it looks farther than it is and therefore smaller looking. Thats why I point the camera at me for my bigger fish. In those shots the fish is closer to the camera and your farther. But I keep it in superview for that.
