I love slams and nasty throws because they could end a fight in the street.
@j0rp0t10 жыл бұрын
you looking to end someones life in a fist fight depending on the circumstances i wouldnt do a slam incase i killed them but if i knew my life was in danger for sure id go for the groin throat , throws etc but not in a fight between men
@IgnatiusCheese10 жыл бұрын
I'm not grabbing a mans balls. That has no honor.
@BronzeTiger8210 жыл бұрын
j0rp0t If that's the case, then why fight? Unless there is money involved, I don't fight. If I am attacked, I use kill tactics. I don't always kill them( in fact I've never killed anybody) But I will cripple or maim an attacker.
@j0rp0t10 жыл бұрын
yeah iim talking about say a fair fght where an argument escalates and ends in a fight if your getting attacked and your alone then of course by all means use necessary force but a fight between two men needn't end in death ive had many fights growing up and still find myself in fights now unfortunately, ive won most my fights but as soon as i end a fight thats it there no more ill feelings towards that person that person has learnt his lesson by taking a beatng i find myself sticking up for people getting bullied alot and trust me after an ass whooping a persons attitude can completely chnage death is far from necessary in this instance anyway ive been taught to fight snce i was 8 competed in multiple boxing and kickboxing competitions tournaments also did wrestling and judo n college and a real man can tell when and when not to apply necessary force if youve been taught to fight by a good person uts all about evaluating the situation your in sorry for the novel lol
@BronzeTiger8210 жыл бұрын
j0rp0t there is no such thing as a fair street fight. There are only fights you walk away from before they start, and fights you walk away from after they are finished. If you are fighting by a set of rules, you might as well be in a sanctioned fight with a referee. What you are talking about is some schoolyard nonsense. When you get out in the real world, a schoolyard scrap becomes a genuine fight for survival. I avoid fights as much as possible. when violence finds me, it never finds me unprepared or unwilling to handle it. BTW if the people you hang with either need ha much protection or keep getting into violent situations, then why haven't you started teaching them to defend themselves? If you have so much fighting experience, it should be your job to teach these people to avoid violence.

I really like these. I agree they're not hard to do ONCE you get teh position. But to get it you have to wrestle and that's hard lol. That's why I prefer a tricky sweep. But greco style (with a leg) is fun.

I could be wrong, but if you have you arm between the legs of a person you have side control on. Doesn't that set yourself up for a triangle chock? Tito Ortiz recently was caught in a similar choke...

As a High level freestyle wrestler and U-style wrestler(Under Coach Kiyoshi Tamura), I have to say that this specific takedown is not catch specific. In freestyle wrestling, from which the moves hails, we call it a single leg seatbelt toss. In addition to the aforementioned, there are a few minor errors in the way these guys are demonstrating the move.. a good wrestling coach would be all over them for such errors.
@pkrygsman10 жыл бұрын
No intention to bust balls here, but freestyle and folkstyle both grew out of catch wrestling. They slowly took the submissions and "dangerous" moves out of catch to make it safer for competition. Naturally, with no emphasis on submission, the takedown and pinning elements are more developed in freestyle and folkstyle. Basically: you are right, but catch WAS freestyle back in the day. Or at least that is my understanding of the history of wrestling.
@ZsigmondJames10 жыл бұрын
pkrygsman The Suplex, chicken wing, and various other moves utilized in catch wrestling can be directly linked to maneuvers utilized in 17th century Turkish wrestling and then all the way back to sculptures and engravings from the Ancient Greek /Hellenistic era of wrestling, Catch wrestling is only dated as far back as the the late 19th century, 1870's or there about.. Wrestling was a huge draw of the Ancient Greek games and or the early Olympics. In countries like India, Turkey, and Mongolia, and various other places, wrestling went on as sport from the hellinistic era all the way through to the present. Catch as catch can was simply an amalgamation of bits and pieces from those various forms of wrestling. The same can be said of Freestyle wrestling.
