Catching BIG Spillway Perch

We went fishing for spawning Yellow Perch below a dam. We used bobber and minnows and jig and minnows. The bite was light but the fish were not!

Man, those perch are so much fun. I don’t catch too many here in my area, but so glad when I do. I don’t eat fish, but always heard they taste great as far as fish go. Tell Jay not to knock the loose drag… we’re ultralight for life!😂 That Silence of The Lambs quote had me rolling.
