I got skunked this morning for 2 hours! I don't think I've ever fished for 9 hours straight! That's determination!

Sorry to hear about the skunk. Thank you though. I've spent plenty of days like that on the water. I love fishing!

Thank you! It was actually my first time seeing one in person. Such an awesome fish. I'd probably even say it's one of my new favorite species. The fight was just awesome for the size of the fish 🤙

Hoping to catch some crappie back there this year. I have yet to catch any eater sized ones, but I've heard they can be found back there. We'll see what happens this spring. I tend to fish the same way you do. Catch some bait and rig up a cat pole and then target other species while I wait for that bell to ring. Good job and keep it up!

There are good crappie out there. Probably a good 10-12" average, just not as high in numbers as other lakes. I've definitely landed my fair share of eater gills & crappie there though. Nice though, one of my favorite ways to fish. I figure the more species I can be targeting at once, the better. & Thanks man!

do you target any walleye in pueblo res? im in the springs and plan to target some walleye this year. water is almost warm enough for them now. got a little jon boat with a trolling motor if you wanna get out on the water sometime let me know. tight lines!
@AllmouthBassing2 жыл бұрын
Yeah man, I love fishing the res for walleye I just target bass & cats there more often because I tend to have more success with those species from the banks. I'd probably be down to get out on the boat with you sometime if you don't mind it going on youtube. DM me on IG if you have one & we can figure it out! 🤙

The only fish I’ve caught that fights harder than a flathead is a king salmon
@AllmouthBassing2 жыл бұрын
That's awesome! I've never caught a king salmon. Only kind of salmon I've ever caught was a steel head when I was like 12 lol
@tonimoon63462 жыл бұрын
Also, wondering if u have an absolute favorite part of the reservoir?
@AllmouthBassing2 жыл бұрын
I actually don't. The res is a pretty tough fishery to figure out and the spots that produce a hot bite seem to change almost weekly. It's different than any other fishery I've ever fished. Very unique place.
