Nice catching, I went a couple of weeks ago and got a full buschel. Majority of the crabs caught were 7’’ and heavy. I think you would really enjoy a trot line and 30 circle traps

Hey Tony ! You should try foxy mate 120 T topless traps . I also used the wire ring traps but recently switched to the foxy traps . In my opinion they catch more crabs , are less likely to lose them , and stay in place better with the current . Just a suggestion if ur ever looking to try something new .

Hi, Tony. Nice video. Thank you for sharing. I want to know the rain will bring more crab or less? Also you go there is earlier morning or lare afternoon. Thank you.
@CrabbingWithTony5 ай бұрын
Thanks. I tend to have less success after a rain. That may not affect some locations. I go whenever I have free time. I read the tides more than anything.

I hope ya know that croaker is one of the better tasting fish, fried, baked, sautéed,etc. also good for making mock crab cakes, if the crabbing is slow. (I use a 1/3 fish to 2/3 crab for a good tasting cake. thanks, KC

I’m new to crabbing. You’re able to catch crabs in freshwater as well? Does it require them to be near the ocean?
@CrabbingWithTony5 ай бұрын
Ok. All my crabbing spots are connected to the Atlantic Ocean somehow. Saltwater and brackish water. Rivers and creeks. Watch my older videos for tips. Thanks.
