Alpaca tip for you Kage. if you want your Alpaca to roam (itll stay inside your base boundry) hold E on it and go to behavior settings and select freedom. Itll eat and drink on its own then when its hungry :). Tip 2, your monkies. go to your stump and summon them and i believe they will put the food in the stump. Tip 3, Niter powder can be made from nitrate ore in the grinder. Nitrate ore can be made in the thing you make fertilizer in. Keep going. loving the series

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but in context, the grass poking through your wooden foundations makes perfect sense. The wooden foundations are just slats, and there are substantial gaps in between that will allow leaves - even small branches - to poke through. IRL wooden houses - look up longhouses in Borneo for an example - can feature pretty big gaps in between each wooden plank. Now, of course if the grass moves through the wooden bits of the foundation that should be fixed at some stage (as if, but it should be). Also, if you're going to build something else over it, and it's only poking through a little, maybe whatever you build atop it will conceal it and you never have to think about it.

Also pro tip. If you build your main base in the rainforest, you never have to water a single plant ever lol. That's is what I have noticed so far and I have been in it for a week. I just use compost for everything I grow and it works just fine. My grainery is so full I have no point for a farmer at this point. Turkeys are for poop and cappis are for bones, meat and skin.

A little tip to find out if the animals are male or female is hold Q and aim at the animal. It’ll tell you it’s sex among other things. Might have to unlock the node for the mask though but it’s an early unlock

For the amount in the crafting bench, set up your queue as 1 then use the + sign to select the first number you want. For example, if you want 300 of something, use the + sign to take the amount to 3 then just add zeros behind that number. That way you don't have to delete numbers then add more.

Put the seeds and fertiliser in the granary and they will use it, when trying to craft specific amounts if you double click the number it will highlight and you can type the number you want.

I just put all seeds and fertilizers in the granary storage, the caretaker will take care of everything

another option for expanding the farm is to build down toward the river in steps connected by stairs. build a sleeping/housing hut full of beds and comfort items as a place your tribe would sleep in. expand the building over the bonfire to make room for a Dining Table put in nuts, fruits, prepared foods water etc... and keep it topped up for your tribe to eat/drink from. place seating mats around the Bonfire where the tribe can sit.

Good vids, the poop is next to the pool in the capybara pen, loving the series, keep it up, also the gut taking care of my plants I have taking care of the animals cause small farmers does both themselves so, plus when the plants growing they're not doing anything so they can take care of the animals while the plants growing

When you look in your workstations, there is a small red icon on the upper right side. If you put your mouse over it, it will tell you why it is not crafting.

To type in the amount in a crafting bench, you can select the „1“ (just as if you wanted to select some words in a word document or so) and then type the amount you want. That way you override the „1“

you have to hold E on lama and click behavior settings and change it to freedom he will stay around the base, but I would put him in a little fenced in area with the troths and he/she will use the troths on their own hope this helps. nice video

Kage, if you want to actually benefit from your tribesmen on the workstation, you need to invest the points when they hit 30-60-90-120. Otherwise you're not utilizing those special talents where they can output 2x....

For the alpaca hold down E to view items when it says ride. Also you can set their actions in the same menu. Set it to freedom so they can free roam.

Tip stay crouched when approaching animals you want to capture and at times you don't need food in the trap in order to trap them if they run into the trap as they are fleeing or just walking by the trap will get them this worked with helping a friend with getting a jaguar cub and worked in the demo with capturing little turkeys

When a trap is triggered it closes the lid, that's the signal it caught something

Your alpaca should be set to eat and drink when it gets down to 60% hunger and thirst. It's in the behavior settings.

Another great job. You frend have only 4x4plants, is a optional for every crops. You forget not for full a water. :D And if you a reid with a Alpaca, she can drink if you reid water. And i have a corectly info, you pass how are your frend a beqem. if you have a some think for sit down, who have a better rest time, are sei a profit. You can a biger build bad is not a nesesery. Is a only start, and if almost perfect for everiyfing. Thanx and good hunting.

Double click on the amount to craft then it will select the default 1, then you can write over it without having to erase the 1 separately

If you want to put in a number for amount to craft just double click on the number being crafted, it should highlight it and you can put in whatever number you want without having to delete the 1

If your worried about your crops decaying set crop destruction to 0 this will make the crops never decay. Just letting you know in advance it's going to say 2880 minutes but it should never go down.

Tribesman think - no seeds no ned to fertilize - well thats actualy good , why use fertylizer if there is nothing growing. In reality youd prabobly do it otherwise to prepare soil for the cropps but in game it removes unnececery steps for automatization 24:54 you practicly standing in capibaras poop pile or whatever it is called - a little lighter straw on the ground indicates the place I have Farmer for cropps, animals and compost making

you can make a tribesman get items from one place and put on another on the same menu that you choose their work. name your chest/workstation before, or you will have to take some time to guess...

Unless you have ocd, just use the slider to change the amount of resources needed, but to get the exact amount is fiddly, so as i said, unless you have ocd, just use the slider. 👍

I had the same issue with a turkey going invisible. I just ignored it and they ended up breeding. Weird bug. Mine happened when I dropped it and it disappeared into the ground.

The animal caretaker is a low priority job it does not take much time to complete tasks. I have it assigned to my farmer. It will collect feces when it is full. On the capybara pen it is on the ground beside the pool the straw looks a little different he will not collect it until it has a substantial amount I think it maxes at 100. When the animal population gets high it will start to slaughter and store your hide, meat and fathers for you. Every station works on a priority system the first station you assign them to first will be the first that they check. When looking at companion skills the the max that they can reach is more important than their current level. Reaching 90 and 120 will allow more perks to be selected. Ex with a blacksmith when you reach 60 you get an option that increases bronze weapon quality. If you have someone with that perk they will only produce red and yellow weapons about 50/50 each. I feel it is most important for armor, weapons and craftsman for tools. Less important for gatherers or collecting professions like farming. I know that you named your tribemates after your friends but eventually you want higher potential companions to do jobs. I just quietly let them walk off and rename the new person the same.

Their quality( the crystal that appears when you inspect them) dictates their size and HP. A Red Crystal is the biggest one.
