Catching Catfish in Nashville with HARDY

I ran down to one of my favorite fishin' holes in Nashville to meet up with the country music legend himself, who's also been fishing the same stretch of river for big cats. The bite was pretty good, and we brought in a mixed bag of fish. Maybe we'll get into a monster flathead next time!

Good fun catfish run Catman. It sure is aggravating when someone messes with your jugs, we have that problem alot down here in south Louisiana. I put 43 jugs out this past weekend and only got to pick up 31. Some people have no respect. Keep up the good work, can't wait till hunting season dude!!!

Up in creeks where there's water weeds big time, I found BIG bass. .using floating flyline, small cork and//live baitfish i caught some of the biggest bass in the lake. U need the floating line because as u wait the line doesn't sink and get all caught up. This fishing is more like hunting. Its shallow water but often cool in shallow water. Hot weather is the time to fish like this. I eat em all

built golf course on Cumberland river right off Brilley parkway near the grand old opery Indian artifacts like crazy and filled up 5 gallon buckets of turtle meat. Good place to live young man.

Years back I was fishing the white bass spawn. Was using open face with six pound test.It kept bird nesting on me . An older guy told me to spray oil on my line it would stop the birds nest. It worked.

Born and raised on the Ohio/Green river. Don't know why I always got my best bites as a barge was approaching. Moved to Florida and miss jugging and trot lining. Best of luck...if you find yourself with too much fresh catfish...I'll gladly accept...lol

A few weeks ago my brother in law and I got caught on the other side of a lake in our 14ft jon boat and the white caps were so big my back corner about went under the water... no bilge pumps... started heading back 1.5 miles across the lake against huge white caps. Each one coming over the boat. I was almost in panic mode but trying to stay calm. No other boats around us either. We barely made it back and looked like we just got done swimming. Needless to say I needed a break for a few hours after that one. I knew it was gonna be a risky fishing day but we went anyways. I learned that day! Lol

Cut your chicken breast up in chunks the night before and soak it in wd-40. It works a lot better. I’ve caught some big ones that way. 67 lb is my best in SC.
