Great video guys, thanks for the great content which I love watching. Only returned to fishing last year after a 25 year break! No Barbel or Chub caught in 2021, but hoping to get to some better locations in 2022 to catch some. My best Barbel was as a 15 year old (a long time ago) weighing 10lb 6oz on the Bristol Avon. I have had a couple of good evening Bream sessions on my local river in 2021, my best being 4 lovely Bream, all over 6lb, with the biggest gaining me a PB of 7lb 3oz. I also had a beautiful 6lb 3oz Tench on the same session which was another PB.

My best bream session... hunysuckle lake at lawn farm fisherys... pissing with rain and caught 7 bream all over 5lb 1 after the other.. what made it even better was my dad who loves bream was sat next to me and could only catch f1s 🤣👌

Best barbel river don nr Meadowhall Sheffield 2lb 9oz. Not the biggest fish but the most beautiful natural fish. I've had near doubles on commercials but river did it for me. Tight lines boys

Best bream session.....Struggled all day in a cold clear Grimsbury reservoir only for the patience to pay off, two Bream PB's in a row on a method feeder. First was 10lb 4oz and the second was 10lb 12oz.........So worth the wait 👌.

10lb 3oz Barbel on the stick float & centrepin, river Wye. Bream 16 x bream between 5lb & 9lb Argal Reservoir, Chub catch 2 x over 5lb, lots over 3lb and chubletts galore again on the Wye back in July. Happy Christmas to all at Guru!

Cracking watch that lads. Lovely barbel. My best bream sesh 2021 was 16 bream in 2 - 4lbs range from club still water in Norfolk, all on 8mm pellet during late afternoon / early evening in June. My barbel fishing is usually on the mighty River Severn but couldn't go in 2021, but am booked up for a week in 2022. Usually fish Hampton Loade area, biggest to date is 9lb 4oz caught in October 2014 during an evening session when the water was up 18 inches or so

best bream sesssion .... again on the river charente in france, 3 x 4lb bream in a couple of hours before nightfall, in May. in the upper reaches, a swin only about 20m wide, with overhanging trees, caught on red maggots, on a feeder. Had to be back at the rented holiday house by nightfall due to covid. Magic

Best bream this year believe it or not was caught on a dead sprat and hooked fairly in the chops back in Feb while pike fishing. Just under 8lb.

I had my first ever barbel this year from caythorpe on the Nottingham river Trent this November, 9lb 2oz was absolutely over the moon. It’s a completely different sort of excitement barbel fishing. Going out again this week lads slide on brothers !

Well done lads!! Cracking social, Biggest barbel this year was 12’9 from gunthorpe stretch on the Trent. Best bream session was after the close season at Staunton, fished peg 51 had 27 bream to 7 pound, awesome days fishing !

My best session was with my son Riley (10 years old). I had 2 1/2 lb and 4lb 2 chub and he had a 3lb. All 3 of them were PBs and from a very small section of river. We did lose 2 others which were bigger. Best barbel? Well I have only caught one and that was 2 months ago at 4 1/2lb, lovely fish. Bream, best session I had with bream was 5lb, 6lb and 7 1/2lb out of a Weir pool (also caught a 17lb common carp on that session). Well done on your catches, some decent fish there!! It was a boring wednesday of a working week when I just realised at 00:00 it will be the start of a fresh new season of fishing. So obviously I took off from work for the next day so I could be there all night without worrying about being sleepy at work. Initially, I was after barbel but it quickly turned into the best bream session I ever had on good old Thames! I bagged more than 20’of them with an average of 4 pounds

Just got back into fishing this year and limited hours but managed a few bream on the river over 1lb and a 4lb carp plus getting 5lb fishing club stretches when the more serious guys only managed 6lb on the same week. So happy with that happy christmas everyone!

Living in Northumberland I have not angled for river barbel or chub up to date. However this year I have 3 targets. A river barbel, chub and a river carp. My best bream this year was a fish of 11lb 6oz. In the past few years I have had a few 100lb + bags bream. All the best to the whole team for the coming year.

My best Barbel this year is sadly nothing despite trying on the river Avon a few times had some chub and eels but no luck with the Barbel. Had no Bream on my local river either and no other anglers have either this season which is very strange. Had a 4 1/2 Lb Chubb on the river Frome early on this year which was a good pleasure session. My biggest barbell was about 3lb but I hadn't long started fishing so as I was bringing it in just felt different totally bloody freaked out because it had whiskers so I didnt know what the hell it was and thought it may be some sort of predator fish or something that's going to sting me with its whiskers lucky enough the old boy few pegs down said thats a barbell been trying to catch one of them here for a long time!!!! So I was pretty proud tbh as he looked the part or maybe he was "all the kit no idea"😂😂😂 was a awsome memory of my first barbell totally caught by mistake!!!! Merry xmas team guru !

My best bream bag this year was on a pleasure session at Chester Lakes. I had 14 bream for 62lb. Every one was over 4lb, all caught shallow on a pellet waggler and meat. Awesome day.

I had a lovely net of bream from my local natural lake Tockenham, 124lb the best thing was that no one else came close to me that day but it lead to a lot of conversation from other anglers on that day on what I was doing to catch them. Always love a chat especially on the bank

Had a tough year with the barbel. Had 5 sessions on the Yorkshire Ouse. 3 blanks then a 2 and 3 catch. Biggest about 6lb, but you never know, the next could be a double. Got done in snags on the Swale by an unseen barbel that certainly felt bigger than my pb of 9lb 6. A new rod would be very nice to land my next pb boys !!!!!. Keep up the good work. Always entertaining!

My best barbel this season was 11lb bang on also had a 7lb 3oz bream in the same session, from the river ribble this is my local and fish it every week. The river was slightly coloured and dropping nicely both was caught on double 4mm glued halibut pellet.

My best Bream haul was on Ulley Res in October, 9 lovely slabs from 3 to 5lb. It was the first time I’ve targeted them on Ulley and it felt like a proper red letter day (for me anyway). Tight lines and Merry Christmas. P.s. unfortunately blanked on the Barbel front!

My best bream haul of 2021 was at Durleigh Reservoir where I had 60+ bream between 2.5lb and 6lb+ along with a whole bunch of skimmers and roach. All caught using a medium hybrid feeder and size 14 qm1.

Had some lovely days bream fishing at a local lake coopers arms, qualified for the baittech super cup semi final after winning my section with 28lb of skimmers/bream fishing against all anglers fishing for carp around me 🎣

My favourite Bream was the first one I ever caught , I was fishing probably my 2nd or 3rd ever club match as a 13 Yr old on the river Ancholme at Horkstow with Hull Post office AC . It was the only fish I got so saved me from a blank, I t weighed 2lb and a bit and seemed to me like a dustbin lid.

My best bream session this year was a 27 fish haul from a local club water.. Each fish averaged 4lb and was caught on the method feeder with just a lazy lob.. Certainly a session I won't be forgetting in a hurry x
