Catching Colorful Fish and a Giant Shark!

I headed out with my buddies Tyler and Carl from Slob City in search of colorful fish and a giant shark! We began the day by putting up the kites due to the amount of wind that we had. As Tyler and Carl were watching the kite baits, I dropped a piece of chunked bonito down to the bottom, and managed to pull up a colorful Puddingwife Wrasse! It's literally one of the most colorful fish in the ocean! (We released him later that day) As the day continued I managed to reel up a couple more Mutton Snappers, all undersized. Jared and I also hooked up to a few nice Bonito that we ended up using for shark bait at the end of the day! I finally decided to pull out the 130 and drop a big bait down, and sure enough, we hooked up to a giant lemon shark! Although it was rough conditions on the ocean, we managed to pull through with a few really neat fish, and a giant to end the day!

Hes been feed by a silver spoon his whole life my son who is 6 could out fish that kid I have pictures of my son in a car seat at the age of 2 strapped in and a pole in his hand catching 1 and 2 lb catfish......the life vest was so huge on him lol...a true fisherman can go out to any body of water with a pole line weight and hook find his own bait and catch a fish. You dont need fancy poles and Costa sunglasses and 60 dollar shirts unless your posing as a fisherman or your sponsered by said brand. Fish dont give two damns if your fishing pole is with 1000 dollars or 50 dollars. Just as long as you put it infront of there face and it's a bait they want to eat... My first fishing pole was an ol zebco 33 tough as nails.... Now I can afford some nicer stuff so I use penn reels and my poles for trout.. redfish(slot fish 18-28 in) flounder,Spanish kings ECT I use a Shakespeare ugly stick ultra light pro. My bigger Fish I also use penn reels and ugly stick g2. For the money and if you have kids like I do there the most durable rods and reels. But just like everything its how you take care of your equipment wash it after salt water use oil the bearings wipe everything down ECT...
