I remember fishing on the Samuel Irving II maybe 30 years ago or more. Caught my first cod on it. Don't recall the skipper's name though.

I thought with pollock it was important to bleed and gut them as soon as they're up, rather than waiting til the end of the trip.
@gaycha65896 жыл бұрын
Paddy .Cook . No. That's not really the case. I used to be a trawler man from Brixham. Turbot is most important white fish that needs bleeding. A nick at base of tail in their case. Pollack is just upmarket cat food :-)

Nice. One thing... You shouldn't use close-ups all the time... people want to see the whole fish and the bottom part is cut so many times... It's annoying!

No lifejackets? here in Ireland that boat owner would be in big trouble.
@Spottius10 жыл бұрын
In that sea with that high gunnel rail???????? Life jacket not needed.
@swainston19 жыл бұрын
the uk it's not law to wear them but you have to have them on board for each angler of course.

This is not Ireland. Maybe EU should mandate it fir Eu members...

7:22 what a clown and the title "Giant" pollock very misleading, we used to pull 20lb and bigger pollock with Geordie Dickson. Six of us on C-Chetah or Artilleryman easy take 200 fish.
