@@japanesefishingadventures Thanks. I am planning a trip to the lake district in April next year, do I need a membership to fish the smaller lakes in lake district besides Windermere, Coniston etc? The regulations are not very clear. Also on Windermere, is perch fishing and pike fishing easier than trout fishing?

Sea trout and salmon also run up the Irt into wast water, I've had both from the river only a short distance down river from wast water. Fun fact back many many years ago poachers would lime the river from a bridge just up from nether wasdale.with a net strung across below. It was also know explosives where occasionally used.....not very sporting 😮. As a kid I'd get a tin of cat food punch holes in it and attach it to a length of rope and leave it in the river over night and fish the spot below it the next morning. Loved fishing the Irt and some of its feeder becks as a youngster.

Aye andy you must of missed the ticker running at the bottom of the screen! I said UK and meant England but didn’t realise until I was editing! 😂 after researching the deepest loch, Loch Moray really intrigues me! 👍🏻 thank you so much for watching though Andy and your kind words! Great video according to National Trust there is nothing in there though I think they don't want anglers. That said I don't think they can stop you. They used to issue tickets but stopped a long time ago. I've been reliably informed that where you were fishing you can get sea trout at certain times. You have proved that there is trout in there.
@japanesefishingadventures Жыл бұрын
Hi Bob! Funny one there’s nothing to say there’s no fishing but I saw a few lads fishing it when I was there! Plenty of fish from that trip and have been up since without the camera 🎥 and had some smashing fish!! But yeah I think the NT don’t want you up there especially as an angler 🤣🤣 interesting to note about sea trout though!! Thank you for watching pal :D

The deepest lake in the UK is Loch Morar, Scotland at 310m depth. This is 80m deeper than Loch Ness, the second deepest lake in the UK and deeper than the height of the Shard, the highest building in London. By comparison, the largest lake by mean depth in England is Wast Water at 76m.

I know it’s not which is why I added the little text correction!😂 thought I’d said England until I looked back, but hey what can you do!
