My father LOVED this film and Enrique was so right in saying that the film was becoming a rite of passage because in our family it was. My Dad died on July 4th this year and we always would stop everything to watch this film when I visited he and my Mom.

Montana thinking about his daughter before his death is a departure from an earlier version of the script. In this version Montana uses his last breathes trying to spell out “Miklo”; he gets as far as “ M-I “ before he passes away.

Whites being here in America None knows that answer to explain the Cherokee tribe, their warriors who clashed with those like them.
