that split-second moment when she recoils in anticipation of a slap...oh my goodness. love cate blanchett; wonderful actress

The fact that she slaps herself is like the cherry on the disturbing sundae. She's a great actor.

@@sdnsswmmw The fact that she slaps herself indeed is a sign of how messed up she really is inside! I mena why on earth a woman would fight against a movement of equal rights for women? A movement that wants to free her and give her the choice to be herself without society's oppresion?
@unknownunknowns2 жыл бұрын
@@giovannanetto7682 Maybe, because there are some areas where men and women can be equal, and other areas where they can’t, mainly physical, such as the conscription and contact sports that the transgender movement is pushing for. Those are the things Schlafly realized.

She (Phyliss) is SO frustrating. Amazingly played and has her beliefis yet "bowdowns" to her husband. Shocking.

Yes Cate's facial acting was amazing. Even when she didn't say a word we can know what she feels.

@@Lawrencebrofan The point is she was a hypocrite, she was promoting a way of life she was not content to live. Personally she is what I imagine Roy Cohn would’ve been like had he been born in a woman’s body. Mind you she wasn’t gay like Cohn was but I digress.

Phyliss actually exaggerated a lot of social and political claims in regards to feminism; immigration; and foreign policy. Ronald Reagan was also said to be weary of her during his time because of this.

Amazing scene. And the end was a truth that all the feminists watching this video should learn it. A man never needs to explain himself to his women.
