@ 0:42 I see Slobbering around the stack clamp, mine does it too and was rebuilt by a Cat Dealer. "Diesels have no vacuum" but D2 does with their restricted air intake system starting at the oil bath cleaner and chocking down through the intake pipe from cleaner to intake manifold. Imagine the cylinder vacuum-low pressure during intake, that choked restriction vacuum within the cylinder will draw oil through valve guides and rings potentially being the cause of slobbering. May be running it with an open manifold (and K&N filter) to test will confirm the theory... A Turbo for sure will put Positive pressure no vacuum within the cylinder during intake and not draw oil.

Great to finally get to meet you and SR on Saturday and see the Swamp Angle and all the hard work you’ve done. I even made it in the video! She sure sounds good. Thanks for the video Toby. My son was sad he couldn’t come this weekend being it was his weekend with his mom. He wanted to meet Sasquatch as he says. Are you going to put the decals on the Swamp Angel? Thanks again and can’t wait to see what comes next

@@squatch253 I completely understand that. It really is a great piece of equipment the way it is right now. Would be cool to do some distressed decals for it as well but looks great like it is. Can’t wait for the video wrap up to see how you thought it performed and what you think of it. I’ve never driven a CAT and would be fun sometime. I don’t really have the space to have one to use it like it should be used. Maybe I’ll bring a tractor next year if I come up again. 5 hour drive for me but it is a great show to see with lots going on

#5J1113 looks right smart with those wider pads on. Looks just a little short of snowcat width but certainly enough for swamp and marsh bogs. Not gonna lie about it, had doubts about it back when the tracks were being pin and bushing turned. Thought it might look a bit like it was wearing clown shoes in a way. But In good light and in the field, actually looks good with those on.

Exactly what model grader was that. We used to pull that exact version with our Twenty. Kept our 1/3 of a mile long driveway washboard free and filled the ruts after rainstorms. I always thought it was a model 15 grader. Ours used to belong to the ventura county road department in California.
