Graeme and Mike, try using 50/50 bread as it is easier to hook and stays on the hook longer.
@steveow407 жыл бұрын
Mesh your hook baits and boiles, you can use soft bait, paste, whole boiles, pellets, whatever and have a load pre meshed up, then just tie them on. I usually use women's tights for the mesh, much cheaper than Carp taxed products, search on you tube should show you how to👍😉

Hi, been mad busy at work, and have struggled to get out much. Seeing The LRF rod in play made my ears prick up! I've done sea fishing all year, but the other week I had 2 sessions on a local canal as I just had to get out and fish! Took my HTO 1-7g and a 1000 reel, caught a right old mixed bag of fish that i was going to post on the Patreon page in case anyone could identify them for me. I know one was a carp, and it nearly snapped the bloody rod in half !! ... I'll post them as soon as I get chance. Great video as per..... and i'm getting itchy feet.... I can feel a pier trip coming !!

Was there any feed back/advice about if u should change pellet every 2 hours - even through the night hours? Thanks
@TAFishing7 жыл бұрын
Apparently coating in fish oil slows it,or there could be some type of pva bag or mesh to slow the dissolve down. I won't be using them again for night fishing.Not much fun getting up every two hours.Last time I did that the kids were babies...no fun then either !

Thank you, going there 2 weeks time.

We have a film up on Wadmill and that was a super session I had. Obviously most places cannot be good all the time,but when the sun came out the following morning I was impressed by the number of good fish I saw basking on the surface.No shortage of stock at Todber that's for sure.

Just searching for it, any help/tips i can take from it can only help. Watching these vids are better than all these crapy tv shows/boxsets lol

Mark Britton use Nash citruz boilie for a night it ain't coming of and u can leave it in all morning aswell just tie a pva bag with maggots or crushed up boilies and then catapult a good amount of boilies on top of it should work mate

@TAFishing7 жыл бұрын
It does seem a bit tough at the moment.I was out on the beach last night and had to put in extra time to get fish.Quite a few say the weather is still too mild and needs to go colder.Who knows ?? Maybe try night fishing,or at least the first couple of hours of darkness.

Good videos- keep up the good work!! For us poor dummies in Canada that can’t chum!!- what exactly is a “ boily “ ??
@TAFishing3 жыл бұрын
A small circular bait that has a sort of hard skin on the outside so small fish cannot nibble it away but larger fish can take it...The first types of this bait were boiled,hence the term boilie.
