Best thing to catch skips below OH is 2 crappie jigs tied to a swivel with a half oz egg sinker then 12-16" of 20lb flouro to a folly spoon. Also you were close.. but if you had moved down the bank 30 yards at the current seems coming off the rock points you would of filled a bucket.
