That sammich looked delicious. I’m not sure I’ve ever had blue catfish. I’ve had a bunch of channel catching. Which is better in your opinion? Back when Dad and myself ere catching cats, he would say this is a blue or this is a channel but, I think he was going by color. I couldn’t tell much difference other than some were a little bluer than the others. Knowing what I know now I think they were all channels. Great video Johnny.

@JSOutdoors i managed to catch 1 small channel cat a couple of days ago on the Danny King Suki Gizzard bait. Where i am in Southern OK I am using a Santee rig to keep the hooks floating and trying to fight off the soft shell turtles. This last trip i managed to avoid the turtles completely. Hoping spawning is wrapping up soon so i can start catching.

I was thinking about buying some of the 12 foot meat hunter rods and I was wondering if there are able to throw pretty far?

I feel that they go pretty far I believe the one piece has the better action and they throw a little farther. I have one and two piece.
