I’ve been a violent offender psychiatric nurse for almost 20 years. I have seen every level of violence and cruelty man can do to man. I’m very compassionate, but rarely emotional. Your life story had me SOBBING! You are a precious and rare soul. The fact that you are so empathetic and kind after all the trauma, neglect and brutality is beyond beautiful. You are stunning. Ps- Jeeps and tiny dogs truly are life!! 🫶🏼😁

I’m so glad you’ve finally found some peace. I suffer from PTSD and depression and I know how difficult it can be to find just a few moments of it here and there. To find it in an extended period is amazing and I’m so happy for you. When you stood there and let us listen to the silence… I cried. Silence! Perfect silence! That’s so incredible. Before I found your channel, I never understood how people found beauty in the desert. It just seemed so barren. Now I get it. Your photography is incredible and your love for the subject has made me fall in love with the desert too. THANK YOU! And thank you for sharing your life so openly. It truly is a gift to all of us. Everyone can take away something. It’s powerful. ❤

I vacationed in Montana taking a roadtrip from Indiana. I love the natural beauty of Montana, but what really caught my attention was the quiet. Now bare in mind I work in a steelmill, and it's just a constant assault on your senses. So the dead still quiet of Montana, while very welcome...was initially unnerving. Ohh but what a great experience. Renewed, and refreshed. A quiet so complete I could hear my own heart beating loved it

Love this place you were at! It's beautiful, peaceful and much solitude. Your peaceful voice and beautiful commentary is mesmerizing, that I feel so good after watching your videos! You look beautiful and so peaceful as you were sitting on that large flat boulder reflecting on things. It's clearly noted that nature is working for you. Being in the lime light of society and working and putting on a face and showing everyone that everything is just fine...when clearly it's not. I've had bad times and struggles but nothing in comparison to what you have endured. But look at yourself, and you've managed to make big strides in your well being and that speaks volumes of where you were...and where you are now! I believe you have schooled us on what the great outdoors can do for ones soul, well being and mental health!! Thank you for being an ambassador for being in nature and taking care of ones mental health! You're a beautiful person with a big heart ❤️ and just know that you are loved!! 👍💕 Have a wonderful week where ever the wind takes you my friend! Much love. 💕

Sarah, I just subscribed to your channel about a month ago and really enjoy watching your travels, and content. I was a young Air Force security guard back in the 80's stationed at Nellis AFB Nevada. I owned a 1980 Jeep CJ5 and on my days off would travel every desert road, spring, and hotspot in Nevada and California. I along sometimes with a friend would camp and boondock in some of the most remote places, and have the time of my young life. That was 41 years ago and my soul and heart longs to go back and relive those days of wonder and happiness. Thank you for videos and the places you go to rejuvenate your sprit, I feel sometimes that I'm there with you. Peace and happiness to you Sarah. Bill....

I can see how being on the road brings peace. I also understand the hiding our feelings and emotions and everyone thinking you are fine and have it together. We never know what someone else is going through. We can’t spend our lives living in the past or on what ifs. If we did that we would never find ourselves. You have to face things head on even when you don’t want to because that is how we grow and find ourselves in this life. Much love and as always safe travels to you Sarah! ❤

With great difficulty. Everything takes money and also camping alone in the desert can get lonely and boring and the weather can be a big factor. It ain't all fair skies and fun. I camp in the desert by myself a lot. I've outlived all my old buddies. I like to shoot and it's getting harder to find places where you can do that, especially here in California.

Your very inspiring to others Sarah that need to find themselves and get back on track, I could take some lessons from you, My mom who I love very much has mid stage dementia, I know she is in there she knows me , but not family members that dont want anything to do with her , its sad. I also love being in nature as yourself , My friends are not into camping in nature as i am . I have very few friends being an introvert... And the ones I did have that enjoyed what i do, have past due alcohol addiction. sad, My dad was an abusive alcoholic . mom was loving , I feel alone, unworthy. I need to do what you are doing because nature is where I also find peace . I have to get up the nerve to go out alone , go camp alone , rent a cabin alone with me and my dog.. God bless you Sarah. Your drone shots are very good. You've become quite an aviatrix. Amelia Earhart would be proud. That one tree with the big circle around it reminds me of Evelyn on Hwy 127 north of Shoshone. There's one lonely old tree there and a big circle behind it. I put up a sign saying EVELYN and other by the tree saying WATER- please. They won't last long.

What a perfect spot!!! And all to yourself woth no one else around! Sarah, ive been watching your channel for quite awhile now and I'm so glad you are gaining on the battle within. Ive certainly had my losses ive had to deal with, big ones, but nothing like what youve survived!!! Im truly amazed at how far you've come and the fact that youve shared it all with us is amazing! And even now that you are going through a different kind if very tough situation, you are handling it with wisdom and walking through it all with strength that i dont know if you are even aware! Life has certainly not been easy for you, but you are walking through your journey in such a way that i really hope people are paying attention! We can all learn a thing or two from you. Im 66 and you are teaching me a lot! And yes, finding peace is everything! I think youve connected to the Creator in a most beautiful and hinest way. He never intended that we live in cities. He always intended we live out in nature, being at least somewhat nomadic. Cities were an invention of man. You are an inspiration to so many. Even though my age and disabilities prwvent me from getting out there, at least at yhis point and tume, following you on tour adventures really helps me and i want to tell you a heart felt Thank You Sarah!❤

We cannot change or control the past, but we can evolve to accepting & forgiving. The roads & nature have helped me greater than any other form of therapy ✨️ 🙌 I laugh when you bring up "feral" as I joke the same lately 😂 it's like damn, hope I am not becoming too feral/a hermit 🤷♂️🤣 Continue to do you, healing has no time limit ✨️🙌

Believe it or not, even if you don't feel good, acting or pretending like you do is usually a good thing, remember we become what or who we think we are, so think positive thoughts and your life will change for the the better hun!
@joleighvaАй бұрын
You obviously mean well and are trying to help because you’re a good person. But please stop saying this to people. At least half of the people you’re saying it to have an actual clinical depression (whether they know it or not), a physical change in your brain. Acting like everything is fine isn’t going to help that. It’s the equivalent to telling someone who has a broken leg to get up and walk it off until it feels better. People with depression are already wearing a mask every day so they don’t worry those who love them. It’s exhausting. By telling them to just act happy, what you’re actually communicating is that their mask isn’t good enough and it’s making you uncomfortable. You seem like the kind of person who would want to know if the messages you share with others aren’t having the positive impact you intended, so I just wanted to make you aware. ❤
