The Cathedral Of The Madeleine is a Catholic cathedral located in Salt Lake City, Utah. The cathedral was completed in 1909 and is the mother church of the Diocese Of Salt Lake City, which encompasses all of the state of Utah. The cathedral is the only cathedral in the United States to be under the patronage of St. Mary Magdalene, and is the largest Catholic church in the state of Utah. The cathedral is also home to the only co-educational Catholic choir school in the United States, which is the Madeleine Choir School. The cathedral also contains bells that ring every 15 minutes.
