Frustrating when that's all that pops up in your feed. Why with all their beheadings would anyone want to watch it over and over? Seems like it was the only way they could solve an issue: Beheadings or burnings? I am not sure in this day and age humanity is any better?

Catherine of Braganza is one of my favorite Queens!! She was sweet, introverted, and loyal. Whats not to love about that? She had a great impact on the Country and she is who introduced the English to tea! Such an English tradition, started by a foreign Queen consort. I love her!

all I want to know is who are these white people? EUROPE IS A BLACK CONTINENT with Black Royals. Portugals had black queens the same why Wales did , the same way China did = 🐲all mothers of dragons are black women. Its part of the pre- Yoruba culture ... ✭ ✮ ✯ ✰ ★ stars and lions , rhino(unicorn) are coming out of the ancient Egypt ........... those crowns went into Europe THE MOORS RULE PORTUGAL FOR 800 YEARS. and everybody is white royal..
@thenablade85810 ай бұрын
@@cinnamonstar808 The ‘Moors’ (which is a European word and isn’t exactly accurate) were primarily Arabic and Berber, although there were many black Moors as well. Portugal and Spain were never fully conquered by the Islamic invasion, hence the seven-hundred year long Reconquista. Catherine was primarily of European heritage, although many Portuguese and Spanish are of North African or even Hebrew heritage.
@cinnamonstar80810 ай бұрын
@@thenablade858OK we are going to go over this for the 5 billion time. JUST BECAUSE YOU SEE non-black people on the land NOW = does not mean they are the original people. BERBERS are BLACK white Berbers are white Ukrainian female slaves that came over with the invasion of North Africa. 2024: Black Berbers know all of their culture. white Berbers do not know Berber writing because they adopted the culture and the language . *** the reason for the slit due to religion in Spain or Iberia is because (again) lack of cultural history. CHRISTIANS | MUSLIMS | HEBREWS } are cut out of a prior pack that left the nile valley. The black ones are aware of this due to passed down culture. New whites are not aware of this. because they are not ancient Egyptian and have no clue how toxic the politics was in those ancient times. CULTURE is shared experience; and the history of it being passed down into the generation. it determines who we act or Id ** white people are never ever called natives in EUROPE. why the assumption? please do not assumed that. Amazing! That was so interesting! I knew very little about Catherine, & nothing about Portugese history. It's interesting that both her father & Charles had reclaimed their family's thrones, when their lives & backgrounds were so vastly different in every other way- I can't imagine her culture shock on arriving in England!

Her portuguese background was so different from the english court, i feel sorry for her
@IntoThePast3 жыл бұрын
I am glad you liked the video! Her background was a word away from the english court. This doesn't mean that she was a simple minded person. On the contrary, she probably was a bit more refined than the english court ladies (when she arrived in England she asked for tee and they offered her wine) and she had a good education. But by no means she was prepared to live in a place where men (shock!) and women mingled and flirted. She was very naive and innocent.

El escorial is pretty dull and boring, in comparision to royal palaces in lisboa, simmilar contrast to edinburgh castle v tower of london.... yes the catlalan rebellion, is exactly in the same period as the restoration of portugal under braganzas..... espanha nearly fell and the iberian union was over... the dynastic union or * sharing of thrones* or titles,. a *union of thrones or two crowns* like scotland & england, until 1701... portugal & spain until 1640....
