I was senior in high school when I first heard the call. A substitute nun came to our class, in my Catholic high school. She reminded us about the love of God. God loves us, me, so much I can see all the gifts and blessings I’m receiving. How do we, I, return the Love of my God? The only way to return God’s love because I don’t see Him, is to love and serve my neighbors. Ever since, my purpose in life is to serve my Holy God, to do my best, to do His holy will. 🙏🙏

Only God is awesome, and that is a word that should be reserved for him only. When we follow the world's usage of that word, which they apply to anything, we cheapen it. Likewise, Bishop Barron, in his exceptional communication skills, has sometimes been too populistic about Catholic Truth. Jesus-God was very blunt not because his audience was "too primitive," but because Truth must reign absolute even among the communication gifted.

How fortunate you are to have him. Currently, for quite while now, we have no bishop in our diocese since the death of our previous bishop. We do however have a very holy priest acting as administrator in the interim. In God our Fathers time, we will have the perfect Bishop to guide us through the tumultuous events in our Church and in our country. Meanwhile let us all pray, “ ABBA, may your kingdom come, may you will be done now and forever Amen”.
