If someone wants to go extreme, let them go extreme. As long as they do not tell YOU how to do your lent. It's not a competition and we are all at different stages in our relationship with God and we are all different. To tell others to stop what YOU think is too extreme, ask yourself where this is coming from, is it envy? Because it makes your lent feel inadequate? Nonsense. This is between an individual and God, period.

Hi Diego, thank you for taking this season with the seriousness it deserves. We do not feel as if we are forcing you to do anything you do not want to do, and that certainly was not our intention. When it comes to each person’s individual style of worship, we all do it a little differently. In this video, we endeavored to give an overview of some of the practices that Catholics follow during this most holy season. At the same time, we need to carefully discern and be at peace that our practices are in fact God’s will, and not a response to God as we might have created him in our own image.

Hi 4ilan, we are sorry we took so long to get back to you, our office closes on Holy Thursday and Good Friday (definitely one of the benefits of working for a Catholic company! 😀). Different people do different things regarding the end of their Lenten duties. What is more important is that you learned something about yourself in giving up TikTok. The act of giving up something is not as important as is the idea of that action creating some sort of change of heart. In any event, we are now a couple of days past Easter and hope you are enjoying the multitude of challenges and other videos on Tik Tok!
