Ok but who’s doing full on piaffes on a hack!? When I say hack, I mean I plan to throw on a halter and connect some ropes and go as fast as possible😅 not put on a bunch of fluff, a double bridle, and go do a bunch of complicated movements.

One wonders if this horse even knows how to truly enjoy itself and if it ever experiences the joy of oneness with it's jockey. I suspect it only knows how to satisfy it's rider's ego.

Poor horse. Theres 100% something that the rider is trying to hide. also I've always thought of a hack as something fun/relaxing not hard to pull off moves. Edit: would it be possible for you to do a video on youtubers/tictokers who are mistreating horses, it annoys me how mamy videos of dancing horses i've seen

When you need fluff to cover up your bullshit riding, maybe it's a sign that something needs to change. We're so far from what horse riding should be. Huge lack of communication in the sense that some riders don't even recognize their horse's discomfort (or choose to ignore it for greed) or they interpret it as disobeidience. Saddly, in the end, it's always the horses that are suffering, even though they're trying very hard to make us understand that something is wrong.

Why would you fluff ? Most horses would rattle the bit , want to wipe their mouth . Sneeze . Be distracted . The list goes on . I support a lot of what Dressage Hub does but this I do not believe .

@@mcdart2606I don’t know which part of the world you come from but as a European trainer in 4 countries I have neither seen nor heard this fluff stuff used or mentioned . If you put that on a horses mouth it would be a huge disadvantage as mentioned . It is standard practice before entering the arena to have any saliva etc wiped from the mouth as it causes distraction .
