It doesn't pull from the air instead it pulls moisture from your skin drying it up more. Even if you use it with a moisturiser or a mist it will just sit on your skin and not get absorbed. The one found within our epidermis is different from applying it on top.

Thank you for your video! I'm a floaty and my last job was replacing someone in a cosmetics factory. They make shampoos, soaps, mouth hygiene products and all sorts of creams. To make sure that no reactions happen that spoil the products the air's bone dry in every part of the factory and gurl my skin didn't take it well. I basically aged 10 years in one week, my skin was weirdly "hanging" off of my face but it still felt like it was stuck to the bones, I don't know how to explain that weird sensation but it made me feel very uncomfortable and disgruntled. So I went out and bought Garnier's hydra bomb sheet masks. Even though I looked and felt WAY better after using one, I still wasn't too sure about buying a serum, so I watched your video. Bought one today from La Roche for 20€ and it's low-key black magic how my skin popped back to normal. I was very cautious about this, thinking it was another scam but to my relief and surprise it wasn't. Kids... go buy hyaluronic acid x glycerin serums, massage em in, top it off with some beefy moisturiser (Nivea soft) and then seal it in with vaselin. Yeah my skin's THAT dry lol
