Things I've seen results with... using honey as a face wash or mask, tweezing the sebaceous filaments and immediately "treating" the pores I guess like using a toner, using glycolic acid, and using jojoba oil as a moisturizer + oil gritting with jojoba oil. These are things I've done throughout the years that I noticed improved the appearance of my sebaceous filaments. Due to not caring for my skin consistently they have come back and now I'm trying to reduce them again.

How did it go?
@Gabistruwwelliese2 жыл бұрын
I have an excellent skin care routine and I regularly read scientific articles about all ingredients I put on my skin (I'm a scientist). That said, my sebaceous fillaments are huge on my nose, so I remove a great deal of them every once a week (that's how long it takes me to look "bumpy" again). I have a special routine for removing / sterilizing and I do use tweezers because I don't even have to touch the skin for the extraction most of the time (otherwise you can seriously damage your skin).
@sabrinase2 Жыл бұрын
Please tell us how do u remove them
@Gabistruwwelliese Жыл бұрын
@@sabrinase2I don't recommend if you have sensitive skin or is prone to scarring. But I manage to take them out when my skin is oilier (so not after shower, because the filaments will be "creamy") so I work on them when they are thicker, then I just stretch the nose part I wanna to work on, and I'll see them coming out (I use a magnifying glass, those you buy on store that can get attached to a mirror or smth through suction). Then I use the sterilied tweezer to pull, but I make sure not to poke the skin, I just pull the filament that is sticking out. Then I clean my face and do my regular skin care. For optimal results you might apply cold compress to close the pores. Hoever, the trick is, not to work on a skin that is creamy or anything, you want your filaments to stick out and be more rigid. Also the tweezers, it might be worth trying different ones to see the one that works the best. I hope this helps. But please don't poke your skin. ]

My main problem is that i have really dry skin with lots of dry patches and all of the products for black and white heads are mostly targeted for oily skin😩I don’t know what i should use to treat them. Some recommended using the ordinary salicylic acid mask on my nose one time a week or the innisfree 2x super volcanic pore clay mask, and I have seen people saying that using COSRX AHA/BHA clarifying toner for a long term worked for them. I really don’t know what i should use especially since skincare options are really limited in my country, so if anyone with my skin condition has tried one of the products above or has any recommendations i would be so thankful💕

I have read that ACV is recommended to use on Aztec clay masks because it neutralizes the basic pH of Aztec with acidic ACV, so it would only damage the skin more if we use water with Aztec
@jkaylowden3 жыл бұрын
Yep! This is true; I’m not sure why she suggests mixing it with water, which would make it very basic and harsh on your skin

Both ACV and Aztec clay (I've used it with many liquids including waters, lemon, AVC, and honey etc etc) are Extremely Harsh on my skin. If this is true for anyone else, please consider a green clay.
