Clear and concise demonstration. I could use one myself but I'll need a power adapter for 110v US system.

There are plenty of other types, probably one to suit your needs. Good fun for a short shuttle in the background of a main layout for example.

@@Calvertfilm I have a short 009 line running from my mine building into a mountain. A shuttle would be perfect for that.

Interesting. I use 12v blocks underneath the layout for lights and sound units with just one power brick with enough amps. I could plug one of those into this under the layout if it was something I wanted running all the time. I have seen them at layouts4u and I think I started using them after you mentioned them in a WWI layout you did ages ago. I've bought quite a lot from them. Can you run trains normally when not using it? I assume the train would stop at the diodes though.

I'd have to add a connection for a manual controller but yes it could run. As far as I know it would not send power to the SS2A as well but just in case I would use a system that unplugs the SS2A and uses the manual controller on another plug instead. Yes it would stop at the diodes.
