The Shanghai Museum is holding an ancient Egyptian exhibition with a feline twist -
by allowing cat owners to bring their furry friends into the museum. The exhibition has proven to be hugely popular with the city’s many cat lovers. Special tickets that allow visitors to bring their pets have sold out within seconds and the events have attracted thousands of visitors. Each night, 200 cats and their owners are allowed inside the museum.
“The Meow Night at the Museum” will run until September 28, 2024.

I’ve been to China many times (sadly missed the opportunity to visit Shanghai) and I find Chinese people to be very innovative. They don’t just appreciate new trends, but they are also very creative and trendsetting themselves. Evolutionary and adaptive. Their looong history speaks for itself, I guess.
