This week we hauled cows from lime ridge, up on top of the moki dugway, come along and see the cool road that takes us to the top. One of the most scenic roads in the world. First calf was born and we continue our winter work as we prepare for spring time. Pray for rain! thanks for watching.

Incredible video this week. Not that they always aren’t great, but this one was almost like watching a movie to see how it came out. That area where you got the last four cows from is deceptively rough, like you said. That little calf did a good job. Poor buddy. It’s a good thing that you all went up there on the day that you did because who knows how long he would have made it with a mama who hadn’t had any water. You do such a great job and such a hard job. Oh, and thank you so much for the thorough explanation about the difference between the types of dogs you use and why. Now I know, I won’t forget. Thank you.

Words cannot express how much I enjoy your videos. I'm old and an arm chair cowgirl now but I worked on ranches for years here in Montana and had some outstanding working dogs on sheep and cattle both. You're a good stockman. And If I didn't live in Montana I'd love to have spent more time in Utah, especially in the areas where you run cows, I've traveled through and camped in many areas of your country.

Great video again! Love watching Rhonda work. We drove the Dugway a couple of years ago in our Chevy Traverse and it was fun but don’t think it would be fun pulling a trailer full of cattle! Have a great week!

What a great week..That little calf was a tough trooper. Good start to the calving season. I think everything is off. My goats had thier babies in November. They aren't supposed to have them til Jan Feb. Don't know if it has to do with magnetic shifts or weather mods. But it's something different all over I'm seeing..They must have gone up to a safe spot from predators to have the baby...Good pony Glade❤..

You have such massive pastures. How many acres do you have for your ranch? You always seem to be moving some cows to better feed. Time consuming but shows you are a good Stewart of the land.

Mark, pack all the clothes you own and plan to buy some when you get here. Today is 5 degrees and that is the high for the next ten days. We are 90 miles from Winnipeg and spent yesterday moving snow out of corrals , 4ft deep. Your desert looks pretty inviting. Good video , hope your cows are fine.

Hello Cowboys! I should check out the dog that doesn’t bark. Mine bark all the time. lol at one time I had a Sheltie. She was forever herding the kiddos and the table legs. lol beautiful country, I don’t think I would want to ride or drive that road tho. Do you ever see arrow heads while you are riding around? Beautiful sunset. Would make a perfect jigsaw puzzle. lol what a good Mama tho. A couple of steps and she stops and waits for baby. Baby is having an awfully hard time. Couldn’t you put the calf up with you and the Mama would follow you? Thirsty cows. I asked that question before you did it. Too much work to erase. lol what a great video. So interesting about the saddle. I’ve really enjoyed learning about this. So interesting today. I hope y’all have a great week. Thank you

You're getting work done with your dog, that's the main objective. She's doing good. I think you're missing out on her greatest instinct, which is to balance and bring the stock to you, this accomplishes 2 things your in front picking the trail and bringing stock to you makes them gentle. Again your dog do what works for you.

I always hit the Like Thumbs Up button. Why do you guys do Pasture Rotation? This is a really long video. Do you guys prefer to use Roping, Split or Mecate reins? Are you guys going to get some shirts with your Logo on it? Are guys going to get some stickers of your Logo? What is a Permit for your Ranch, what does that mean? When does Calving officially start on your Ranch? The cattle look good and healthy.

Great question, when I have several people going, I don't usually take dogs, because it is hard to have dogs work with lots of people if that makes sense. on the last day, when we found that calf, I decided to leave her in the trailer when I saw that cow off by herself, I figured she might have a calf and dogs and calves make the cows nervous. Thanks for watching

Hi guys thanks for the great videos. We’ve bred and worked dogs on large places in Australia for 30 years. On one property my husband and we did all the mustering of cattle on our own, we would walk up to 500 head just the 2 of us with the dogs. Best way to work cattle, we had to do a lot of cattle education with the dogs so the cattle don’t fight with the dogs and understand what the dogs wanted. 🇦🇺
