That Fleet ratchet is identical to a Penens I have, which are both allied with Plomb/Proto.

Dayton was Grainger’s house brand I believe. They were made by Thorsen. The Thorsen ratchets, even though they were copying the S-K mechanism, we’re actually much stronger because the pawl on those is twice as thick as the S-K

Funny you mentioned western auto and advance. The one we used to have has a advance in it now

Pepboys by me has turned into advance auto but the service garage has not , I don't know if they merged or one decided to stop selling parts

Our Western Auto turned into an Advance too.

May the Ratchet of Truth be attached to the Extension Bar of Judgment and the Socket of Wisdom.

My father owned a garage for over 60 years. He used Snap-On for the most part but there were always a few odd tools around here and there. I never liked the round head ratchets, mostly they seemed to me to be pretty cheaply made. My old USA Craftsman were crude compared to the SnapOn but I thought they were better than the round head models. You have a lot of tools that I've never seen before.

Catus, you promised us that you'd keep your channel clean. I definitely heard Tiny swear at you. I thought this was a family-friendly channel!

Gambles Artisan, that's a rebrand of a pretty early first generation SK.
