Surprised you don't have a lathe. You should get one of those small ones.

Thanks for sharing your knowledge and project. I am trying to repair my electric motor to my Toro F700 Power-Jet Leaf Blower. I am wondering if I re-wired the positive and negative incorrectly and broke it because the switch doesn't turn on the motor. I thought I identified the wires correctly by placing green and yellow zip ties on the wires that were terminated with a twist-cap.

GR8T video.. thank you. I tried to communicate this info to a friend but he just brushed me off. I guess I just drilled it into him to much about your channel... Cheers from So.Ca.USA 3rd House On the Left.

You could also use a light abrasive and convex the brushes... Which is my preferred method.

I've done this before with a cordless drill, it's a bit easier because you can just set the drill upright on the battery instead of trying to hold up the drill and brace the bearing on something.
