I think if I had played this below age 10 I would love it to peices. It's got all the great elements I would have wanted back them. Though, I think soon as I hit 11 I'd find this too simple and not very fun. So, given that, I think this is an awesome game! Reminds me of Aly Cat on the PC. That game was excellent, and I still find is sort of fun to play today.

Was Aly Cat that event/sports game, well kind of? You had a cat that was taking part in different challenges, played it on my ST.

@@gearsofgames no it was a bit like this game, but you only had one screen which was a fence in front of an apparment block. It was lots of fun! It was actually written by IBM in 1984.

this is a decent game. if you dont have patience then dont play desert bus! i did see the krazy kong sprite here too, must of brought back some fond memories for you!

Isn't Desert Bus just the ultimate test of patience? If you manage to beat it, you should be able to defeat a cat in a staring contest! Yeah, the top hat looked great on Kong! So glad I didn't get to that particular screen! 😁

As a finnish 🇫🇮 cat 🐈🐾 furriend 😺, i will say one thing: This Speccy game meows pawsome 🐾 and purrfect for meow 😹👍🕹️. At least, i have some cat 🐈🐾 games for my Commodore 64 and Amiga 500 😸😺👍🕹️.

You say it's not a bad game for 1984, but then show a magazine page with Costa Panayi's TLL on it for the same price...

That is quite true, but there were also far worse games. Even though I suppose things were starting to stabilize a bit when it came to absolute garbage published by out of touch publishers.😁
