I mean, the thing is that pageant walking and model walking are not the same in terms the atmosphere and vibe they should be giving off. If pageant walking has a little bit of your charm and personality put into it, making you appear more “cheery” in a sense, on the other hand model walking is rather stoic in the expression without the model’s personality being shown on the surface in the runaway because it’s all about the clothes they wear and instead of it being a contest of showing who they are. I personally, feel like Victoria Secret catwalks give more of that pageant vibe.

As someone who has walked for a local university pageant before (for the first time) - walking in heels like these models, is NOT easy. Standing with pose, not losing your balance, also while managing your clothes, it was my first time getting out of my comfort zone and doing it and I missed my sneakers a lot. I know that there are people out there who only wear heels, so walking like this might seem very easy to you but it's actually not the walking that's tricky, it's the body control. You need to LOOK good while walking, manage your posture walk in a long straight line, show symmetry etc. I think catwalking is not just walking, it's a lot of other stuff. These ladies made it look easy. Props to you guys 🔥
