I’m 28. I wish I tried when I was younger but I suffer from severe anxiety and depression. I just want to try before it’s too late. People saying I look young for my age. I have decided to audition for my cities fashion week. It’s not a large fashion week and they encourage different body types to audition. I started practicing my walk and confidence. I also started getting serious about working out to tone my body before it’s time. A top model will be chosen for the year. I’ll do my best and pray for the best.

Hey, don't be discouraged guys! Keep in mind, EVERYONE is unique! If one agency doesn't work out, try again. I'm sure if you keep trying, one of the agencies will gladly accept you! But you gotta be REALLY determined, because there will be a lot of rejection. But do NOT give up! Keep your head up high and focus on your dreams! I really hope this helps ❤️

I am 16 and I am 174cm(I don't know the height) but I've been taking modeling to consideration, a few people around my town usually recommend me to try modeling due to how my body is and how my height is too, but what insecure about is my face. It's so chubby and I am insecure about that, but when I do photoshoots I appear like a real model because I know my shoot angles and my photographer doesn't have any problems with working with me he said, I am one of the best clients. But I am so insecure with my facial and I am willing to work with that. I can't wait to start auditioning cause in my blood, I really want this and I know I am part of the modeling family because when it comes to my body and photoshoot angles, I know I am going to make because I only have one problem around my body and that's it.

5'6 is the recommended minimum height for 16 year olds. Really dark skin is also really in demand, if your skin is clear and you're in shape you should be fine Just know that for Victoria's secret, they're far harsher than many other companies. You need lots of confidence and most of their models were rejected at least once

I want to become a model...im 13 and 5'4......Im from nepal and i live in a city where there are almost no modeling agencies and no family support.....I havent seen any nepali model and our country is really small and people thinks modeling is not good and its really hard we only have beauty pageants.....but no runways and all that...... :( I really love modeling but.....its just too hard here.....Here , we have no modeling classes and literally nothing which can help me to become a model ....No one in my family likes modeling , i mean my mom says that she'll support me but she doesnt likes modeling from heart . They think girls who belong to a good family doesnt do modeling............

So I was researching comp cards and it cost $500 dollars for it to be made. We can’t make our own cards??? How can they tell the difference between a professional one and one that I could make myself if I take the time and effort to do it. It also says you’ll need more than one and obviously I’m not going to pay $500 for each. Is it just for one or for the actual format?

Yes, its very easy to tell. The first thing is professional ones are printed on both sides, and the size and paper quality are different than could be done at home. The price should be for like 25 to 50 cards and your photo shoot, and it should be less than $500. More like $250 in the USA should get it done.

For runway, they want 5' 10" or above, but for print modeling, they need every type of look. So no matter what you look like, there is a place for you if you find it.

I'm pretty sure you have to be 14 and up for most of the agencies. You could try child modeling, but I really advise you to wait till you get a tiny bit older. You will most likely grow taller which means more agencies will accept you, so it's really worth the wait! I hope this helps 😊❤️

@Lea Bogwald Yeah, I understand. But at 12 you are considerd a child model, not an adult model. You would get a lot less money then say someone who is just a few years older. The modeling industry is not all Sunshines and rainbows. A 12 year old wouldn't be able to grasp the idea that you can get seriously hurt by working as a model. That is why I say that you should wait a few more years till you are a bit more mature.
