My heart is broken about the Avon potpourri pig you put back!!! 😭 My late grandmother had one like that in her bathroom when I was a child. Everytime I would finish using the restroom as a tiny girl, I would always “sprinkle” the “perfume” over me and then run to my grandmother and ask her if I smelled pretty. She’d grab me in her arms, bury her face deep in my neck, and exclaim how beautiful I smelled. Since her passing, myself and my family members have scoured her belongings looking for for that pig and we have been unable to find it. We think she sold it in a yard sale. 😭 I was holding my breath when you picked it up. 💔

I have that Avon flowered sachet pig. You put the sachet pellets inside and out it in your dresser drawer. My sister gave it to me in 1978 or 1979 as a birthday gift. I still love it 45+ years later.

Not a goodwill fan, we recently had a new one open and the employees were snagging the good stuff before it hit the racks. $10 for Dollar Tree items, $20-25 for cheap broken things. I'll support local thrift stores every day before the goodwill. Do ya'll have any local thrift stores in Lexington?

My Goodwill has been so disappointing, until this past Monday....Coach wallet (vintage) CatStudio "Charleston " pouch, a Jack Georges, a Strada, a Fossil, a Piero Guido, and a Steve Madden black tote. Then I found a Salad Master & a 3 quart Revere pot and VANS 🍒 Maybe don't pass up on the "Jesus Feast" as I'm looking for one as a house warming gift. I have a stone mountain purse. It’s pretty cool I got it at Goodwill. It’s kind of like a bucket style with two different things going on. It’s like pebble on the top and then the bottom has a band of leather.

I think I might have sold a Brighton when I was first getting started. I couldn't find markings, but I knew it looked good. If it was a Brighton, I way under sold it. It probably was because it sold within an hour of listing. I still made money though, so I am still happy with the sale. Now Im glad to learn a little more, so hopefully I can get a better price next time.😂

I've sold one of those young living diffusers with the purple top. Goodwill had marked on the top of the box "as is" which made me concerned, but when I opened the box, it was new in the box. I think I only paid $3 or so for it. It didn't sell for crazy money, but it was fast.
