Interesting ' parts bin ' Mini !.The Innocenti Minis definitely had the chrome side waistline trims .As regards to the speedometer & gauges , this is typical Mk11 slightly costed Smiths varients with aluminium bezels .The flashing indicators warning lamp I think is the central top green opal , the left and right amber ones are for blocked oil filter and the other is spare - well it was in my UK one !.

Those additional white "lights" at the front are reflectors. They were mandatory front and rear at some point in SA. I've even seen additional rear ones where there is clearly a reflector integral with the rear light lens.

Thank you for confirming they are reflectors. That's what they looked like to me but i wasn't sure and it didn't look like an add on to me . I'm grateful for your confirmation of what they were and for clarifying they were a mandatory feature in S A that's good to know. Thanks for popping in and commenting.🙂👍

Interesting Mini - clear front indicators are always a clue of something made overseas that otherwise could be mistaken for 'another' UK mini. Nice. Are those simply front reflectors?? Not sure. Anyway, interesting spot Glyn.

The little Mini would be a rarity mate, especially with the factory order 1275 motor! Vw didn't look like it would take much to finish 👍

The Mini i have to say i wasn't aware of this model until i saw this one. I agree the VW wouldn't take much to finish and i think there is so much more you could do to improve and personalise it further. Thanks for watching.👍
