A very special Overfinch Range Rover with quite a history. Please note that i have no association with this vehicle or the owner I just came across the for sale advert and had to share it with you.

Love these! Hard to imagine a bloke talking about adverts is one of the most engrossing things on KZbin, but it is IMHO! Also I saw an Overfinch Range Rover yesterday and didn't really know what I was looking at. Now I do!

That made me laugh and your comments are very kind and much appreciated.

The first page of the Classifieds are showing these 2002 Rover Defender 90 in this lovely blue. Reminds me about my 2001 Jaguar X-Type ... this makes it even harder for me to wait to finally pick up my Jag. Really an interesting find about the Overfinch Range Rover. I've never heard about Overfinch over here.

Thanks Sven, when do you pick the Jag up? Is it auto or manual? Bet you can't wait.

@@TipTopMotors. I can't wait anymore! Unfortunately pick up will be on Saturday 11th May (so in two weeks), maybe a day earlier if I find someone who's coming with me to drive back my Fiat. It's the 3.0 V6 AWD Sport with manual gearbox. What I have to get used again is that the clutch is coming very fast like back in the Fiat 124 Spider - so very sporty clutch. The one in the Tipo is stupid since the beginning - probably an inch until it will start to do something. But well, every car's clutch feels different even if it is from the same brand and model. And I was also getting used to it on the Tipo which at the beginning also has been hard because I always feared the car's rolling down before the clutch finally grabs it. On Thursday next week I'll get the license plates. I've planned to get CW XT 400. As the X-Type is a X400 so I was thinking that's a great combination to reserve. I did something similar on my Fiat 124 Spider back then ... used CW NF 124 because it's a 124 (very obvious) and NF was type from Mazda (ND is the MX-5 and NF is the Fiat 124 Spider of the 4th generation of the Miata).

I remember the magazine articles with the original Schuler Presses conversion. I do remember that there were impressive figures given for the lateral G it could pull on corners. Definitely a very tempting price... I am surprised to see the 6 speed auto listed, it is possible that it is only a 3 but with high and low range. For the price offered you would be lucky to get a sound Classic RR with the stock drivetrain and no history.

I was surprised it said 6 speed but what you say makes perfect sense. When i first saw the add it was £2000 more and they reduced it more or less straight away. There are plenty who would say its not worth the money but again i am in agreement with you its not just any Range Rover this one is a bit special and with a great background. Thanks for watching and commenting.

Well i think so but that's just my opinion which is just as valid as someone who doesn't agree. Were all individuals and it would be a boring world if we all liked the same thing.
