You, sir...had a glorious day of fishing. Rapala should be paying you for making a video like that. Great job!

Rapala makes some great lures, I’ve recently been trying out Yo-Zuris and have been very pleased, their small twitchbaits and topwaters have worked great for me, good color pallet and hardware. Maybe another option in a future lure vid…

What a day! Another amazing video. The giant trout bite around there has been fire this winter. I got a 23.5" last month.

I need to try and use one of these twitch baits, I’m so used to using a 4” soft plastic on a jig that everything else seems out of place lol. Awesome video man

Man Rapala needs to throw you some love and send you a care package for that slam. I can watch these videos if they were an hour long lol. Wish I could get out and fish more I'm living my life vicariously through you these days...

When using heavier wire J style hooks I prefer a rod with a little more backbone. May explain the lost fish.

Great video 👍 Thanks! Wasn’t the Rapala X-RAP® TWITCHIN' MINNOW size 10 at the limit of your med light rod power (1/2 oz) though? Did you ever feel the med model could have been more suited ? Great series of rods anyway !

Yeah, I have had days like that but it was usually with a Mirrolure 52M11 either greenback or white w/ red head. Your rapala is a knockoff of that. The red head was better on the flats and the greenback was good for BIG snook under the Brorein and Platt Street bridges down town Tampa. Sorry you lost so many but that is why a Mirrolure is so good even if you file the barbs. Nice day though.

what better these hooks or the one with treble hooks

Funny how the fish get bigger when they come un-glued. LOL
@jayjohnson96682 жыл бұрын
Thats the only problem with the in line hooks. If you dont stick them good and penetrate the barb into their mouth they will throw those in lines every time!😎

I really like it! I’d say I still liked my Avid Inshore more, but it’s a good rod

@@SeeYaDude Appreciate the response! I have an avid as well, hard to beat it. Im putting together a bonefish set up and I was thinking that 7’4 ML would be perfect for throwing light bucktails on the flats
