I've heard of all these cases. The most weird disappearance is that of Brandon Swanson. It's just so weird that he mistook his location and didn't see his parents flashing the lights. I have no idea what could've happened. It's do weird.

I looked up the place on Streetview. It's pretty much fields with small intersections. Half the roads are dirt. At night I could totally understand him being lost.

I don't think it's that strange. He had a few drinks, made a wrong turn, got lost then told his parents where he thought he was. While they haven't found his body, it could be a wild animal ate the left overs or when he fell, it was down in a ditch.

The Brandon Swanson story sounds less like he saw someone or something and sounds more like he stumbled into an old abandoned well, because those things go back hundreds of years and ain't nobody mapped out every abandoned well, because every homesteader had one.

Regarding the boy in the woods, it's been well documented that individuals suffering head injuries in car accidents can oft times get out and wander aimlessly around miles off course yet still somewhat function enough to make calls or believe they are seeking help in the right direction. Middle of the woods in pitch black night, most likely stumbled across a wildlife predator. Wolves and bears are more active at night. Usually there would be evidence of such, but perhaps the carcass was dragged away and consumed in a remote location or he fell in water, drowned and was eaten, who knows...but to run into a person or persons at that random locale at that hour and then that person be a nefarious criminal type instead of a normal camper or some such is beyond ridiculous odds. The vehicles doors being open was most likely a passerby checking for injured or perhaps just looking to loot the car of any valuables. The most likely scenarios are usually the correct ones.

So you dont know the case very well. Brandon basically got into a fender bender. He didnt full on rammed head first into a ditch. Head injury is close to impossible. It wasnt a serious crash
