Wow. The hit and run one hit me square in gut. I watched this on the anniversary that the love of my life was hit while crossing the street by an asshole who flew around a blind turn. I watched her pass away in my arms. I actually feel sick right now because they never caught the person who did it to her. I wouldn't wish it on anyone, not even my own worst enemy. Just hold your loved ones close, because you don't know how long it's going to last.

I love "True Crime" videos, but I will admit, when I watch cold cases, I do get frustrated. Cause it's like I want to know what happened to said person! Guess that's why it's called a "cold case" but I'm glad some of these cold cases are finally being solved!

What scares me is that a few years ago I went out to check my mail and ended up in the culvert next to my mailbox with my damaged powerchair for almost three hours. We live in a rural area and it was cold and misty raining when a white pickup came barreling around a curve and clipped my chair spinning me around to land in the culvert. The guy stopped but peeled off down the road when I started moving. It took me a while to get my wheelchair functional enough and get back into it to get back to my house. As silly as it sounds, I'm still REALLY nervous to check the mail.

Actually, no in the state of Texas, if you did hit someone with a car, stop and try to render aid, you don't get charged because it could have been an honest mistake. The ONLY exceptions I can think of is if you run a red light, stop sign, are drunk, or are driving on the wrong side of the road when the accident happens, then you get charged because you were already breaking the law prior to the accident. I live in the San Antonio area, and the other day on the news someone had hit a pedestrian at night due to them walking along the highway (something they shouldn't have been doing). That person did stop to render aide and as a result, they won't be charged. No for the cases when someone died prior to facing justice, well, I'd like to believe they will be facing divine justice instead because I am a huge believer in karma and I do believe in Heaven and Hell, so yeah.

I’m so sorry I really don’t see how point of “life” sentences. Like your dying indefinitely might as well lay out the death penalty like yeah it’s a cruel punishment no denying ok but that’s basically life in prison. It’s a real shame there’s no death penalty hardly anyone life in prison is in a matter of speak a joke. For serious crimes the death penalty should be put on the table. That’s just my opinion.
