Hi, I have the p0335 took out alternator and compressor because sensor is back there. Change sensor. But next day I'm getting the same crank no start and the p0335. I really don't want to remove again the alternator and compressor to check the sensor again. How can I check the wiring?

The wires pulled out of the sensor harness. Without removing the sensor how does the harness release from the sensor? 2007 rav4 v6

Will a 2011 prius need a relearn proceedure on a special scanner when both the camshaft position and crankshaft sensors have placed a code in the system and after I have replaced both and cannot start the engine?

I'm reading that crankshaft position sensors don't have fuses? Or can you clarify what fuse might be blown if it is a fuse? I have a 2012 Toyota Sienna XLE

It can vary, but often they are on a fuse that seems unrelated, such as EFI. You can check all the fuses but it is likely best to use a meter and check for power going to the sensor.

I have a corolla 2013 That gives this code and the 1605 code at same time The engine lamb gets on and then off again I checked the wires and changed the crankshaft sensor to a new original one And erased the error When i got out from the mechanic shop the engine lamb went on again At the next morning it went off again I don't know what is happening and i am at a rural area with almost no mechanic near me I will appreciate any insight please

My 2010 Tundra had a loose battery cable and wouldn't start. I jumped the battery (which later tested good), now p0335 code, 4-low is flashing and the Check Engine Light is on, as well as Skid Control light and some others. Will it reset back to normal if I clear the p0335 code or do I need to disconnect the battery or something? PLEASE HELP!!

If the computer modules don't have a good power source, you can get multiple lights and codes. I would check the battery terminals are good and test the alternator output.

what legitimate problem is this sensor supposed to alert you of then?
@rustychrome3 ай бұрын
Its not to alert you of anything. It senses the position of the crank and tells the ECM so it knows when to fire the injectors and sparkplugs.

This happens sometimes and can be a real pain. I made a video on possible causes when this happens. Here is a link. kzbin.info/www/bejne/joKql3yIeqp9nZYsi=Ib3gW9gaGPMoCABB

I just got this code when my wife came home after the battery was dead. I know she was at the car wash for a while and I think she just left the doors and stuff open.

What do you mean. The battery was bad so this is why the code happened?

Today the ground wire terminal of my 1999 tacoma broke and the car turned off. I held the wire to the broken ground terminal and the car turned on again. I replaced the terminal and she runs like normal. Now, however, the check engine light is on giving me the p0335 and p0340 codes. That's gotta be correlated to the broken ground terminal, right?

I would clear the codes and see if they come back. If they return, then there is another issue.
