6:06 great video! I have a 10month old bully mix I rescued at 8wks. I’ve done “everything” since day one. Great obedience, socializing, etc…around 5 months he started being leash reactive to other dogs, men, and teslas(I duno lol) He is very fearful and his litter was abandoned by their birth mother(watched that video as well). I even spent thousands of dollars at a board and train that was an awful experience. I get up at 6am to walk him when no one is out but even then we will run into a dog or a man and he will be traumatized. He lives with 4 other dogs and gets along well with other dogs off leash. I try turning around when I see his triggers but sometimes it’s impossible and I wonder if I should stop walking him? I use a prong collar, should I stop? When he sees a trigger he cares ZERO about any treats. I can see him sort of “loading” the moment we see another dog and no matter what I try we cannot pass another dog without him lunging. I love him very much and he’s a great dog but I dread walks and it’s very upsetting to me every single time. I’m at a loss at how to proceed forward that will be best for him.

Wow, that is a lot of emotional dysregulation. Being abandoned by his mom has a HUGE impact on his nervous system. Poor pup. I would suggest not walking him. It's not enjoyable to either of you and it's not helping to calm his nervous system.
