That list of causes was poorly thought out. It’s primarily a list of differential diagnoses and has a lot of overlap. A cyst does not cause a nodule; it’s a differential diagnosis for a nodule. A multinodular goiter doesn’t cause nodules, either... part of its description is multiple nodules. That’s like saying a piano causes piano keys. Iodine deficiency causes thyroiditis and overgrowth of thyroid tissue which is called a goiter and can lead to the development of thyroid nodules. I don’t see how it makes sense to deconstruct that sentence and use the nouns as a list of causes.

Thx a lot. My family member (aged 55) got 2cm thyroid nodule diagnosed. Heart beats normal & ECG normal. Doctor said not much to worry for now. So, we researched and made some hypothesis. One month later, it disappeared. What we assumed and did Leaky gut, autoimmune reaction. We did ABC. A// Stopped gluten. Stopped oatmeal. B// improved digestion, eg some ginger in meals C// Gut health and healing. Bone broth, the good one. Probiotics eg Yakult, and G-Niib. Every situation is different. FYR only.

I had a thyroid cyst and a doctor said it grew rapidly and better be removed immidietly in order for it not to grow even more. It was half of a half of the thyroid. I researched online that it's not a big deal, but I still went to get it removed cause I was depressed, wanted to try a surgery experience, was pressured by the doctor, was actually unsure in my future and maybe really paniced from what he said. All my analyses were normal, I didn't have any pain, it was not cancerous. It got removed... Now I have pain sometimes. I haven't checked it yet. But anyway I feel so devastated by my desicion. I think the surgery was unnecesary and will bring more bad than good. I think the nodule wouldn't cause any problem and maybe dissapear by itself. The doctor didn't even suggest to monitor it over time, just said to remove quickly. I'm not stupid, I was just in a bad stage. And now when I am getting out mentally, I face this physical damage I have done to myself and it makes me so sad. I just wanted to share it, but also to ask if thyroid can regrow and what risks are from having only 3/4 of the gland?

True . I have a few of these nodules and have been told different things by different doctors . I was lucky to get a scan after swallowing got scary . I have almost choked a lot of times and live mainly on smooth soups , yoghurts etc but nothing lumpy and definitely no toast . I think I will need checked again soon because the problems are increasingly worse .

Tina have you had a biopsy done??.....go to your doctor and they should request a biopsy, if not you ask them to get one booked in....you have to take care of yourself and check on the coughing, that's not normal....get checked out and take care of yourself 💐🌺🌼

This is a common situation, there are new procedures though that doctors don't mention. Ask your Dr. about RFA. Radiofrequency Ablation, Thermal Ablation and PEI (percutaneous ethanol injection) . They may be an option for your condition

Most nodules are safe and rarely cancerous....just keep having regular ultrasounds so they can keep a check on the size....don't worry, it doesn't help the body so just look after yourself the best you can and see your doctor and request an ultrasound with a pathology clinic🌺💐🌺💐🌼🌼💐🌺

Look up cbd oil(full spectrum).. I’ve been on mine for a few days and it’s shrinking... it was getting to big to breath normally Update 12/12/2022 I had to stop taking the cbd oil bc i had a court case approaching that time.. it grow back to original size.. ive been talking a food base multivitamin for awhile… i started talking this liquid trace mineral call 40,000 i drink during the night and it shrunk in half.. all most gone.. even my daughter notice.. also order thia selenium and vitamin e pills to alternate with the multivitamin.. lets see

I will suggest going on the full spectrum if you know ur not going to get tested.. from a health cbd store.. it costed me $40.. the first day I felt a little high.. but after I felt normal.. I did check a few places and one was isolates that cost $200..which is the lowest form and didn’t make since to do that..the only way I’ll use isolates if I was on parole or something

How do we get rid of them? They have to be caused by something. My nodules have been FNAed and biopsied. My doctor says they are nothing to worry about. However, they are causing high thyroglobulin levels. Something is wrong and it needs to be fixed. Naturally! Not with drugs!

You are right, your body doesn’t just grow tumors for no reason. It’s from poor diet and lack of nutrients like iodine and high exposure to toxins. People need to work with a Nutrition Response Testing Dr. and change their diet to cut out sugar. So many people have them because the American diet is so bad and our soil is so depleted.

My best suggestion is to have it checked. Some thyroid nodules aren't really cancerous, but it's still a good idea to have a doctor thoroughly check it for any malignancy. My mother currently has 3 benign thyroid nodules on both left and right thyroid glands. One nodule was 1cm and she has been having several follow-ups with her doctor. Hope everything goes well for you and to others who are also suffering from this.

5cm nodule on the right side of my thyroid/neck just above collarbone. Been having right ear pain and everything on my right side of ny head is clogged. Even have sinus issues. Trouble breathing, phlegm and trouble swallowing food. Liquids sometimes feel they are going down my airway. Ultra sound and xray did show it kinda pushing my trachea to the side. I just received surgery on my left side today. It was a large nodule. The surgery took an hour and so far I just have a slight sore throat. I take tylenol before eating so it doesn't feel too uncomfortable but you can eat regularly- just nothing too hot or spicy.

Try and not worry Mari, you need a biopsy just to make sure all is ok.....cancer is rare but best to check, hope you've been to a good doctor already....steer clear of stress it doesn't help, stay as active and busy as you can to take your mind off of it.....it's very common, just look after yourself and have a biopsy done💐🌺🌼
