ive always just played around with some knobs and set them to random values and had no idea what i was doing. from now on i know what does those knobs do. thanks for these awesome tutorials they really help me understand what synths in caustic do and how to use them!

I love caustic. It's a mini-reason in my phone. I make a one bar groove every morning on the bus to hospital (I'm a med student) and once I get around to it I'll learn the sequencer too and try my hand on making songs. Great - and not the least accessible - stuff.

I've used caustic since i was like 11, didnt really look up the tutorials as youtube was banned around that time in my country for reasons I'll never understand, It's only now when I'm actually trying to learn how synthesizers work and i think this is a good way to start from

Thank you for this, you have explained what some of the settings mean. I can’t compose and play music myself, but I mess about with sound a lot and I have synaesthesia. The Sign wave is a dark red, and sawtooth is a bright yellow

I've used Reason quite a bit plus many iOS apps. I think Caustic is better overall than any of them.

The amount nob bends the note. Now I know the 'amount dial bends the note too the amount of however I set.. For me a hole step from bending 7th into the root note (pentatonic scale) of or half step bends playing minor add 9s screaming dark pitch saddest) use bass line learn how too bassdrop is necessary. Psychological and powerful

just saw this on the app store (Apple) today. Looks very interesting, a lot like Reason( im sure youve that heard a lot) . So Im wondering on Ipad does it work in landscape mode? Will it support Audiobus and Inter app audio? wether an app has audiobus or not is usually a deal breaker for me these days and I see the same thing for inter app audio being a deal breaker in the future but not yet. If you add Audiobus and Inter app audio this will easily be a must have for the Ipad.
