I have a CA narrow front that blows the head gasket between 2 and 3. Its probably stuck by now, but it IS under roof. I think its got a crack in the block right there. They are really thin right there. Skidding in the snow...what could be more fun...!!?? LOL Good video Rick.

Mine has a crack there as well , many say they were there from the factory , I usually use the permatex copper gasket coating when doing them and resurface the heads , had very good luck doing that

@@ontariovintagetractor I managed to finally come up with a surface grinder a while back and was going to start resurfacing stuff I can't totally destroy. I too use Permatex copper gasket coat on virtually every head gasket. Gas or diesel. It's done good for me, but on the CA, I did not have the head surfaced. The surface grinder is three phase and I need to set it up with a VFD like I put on the 3 phase milling machine to run on single phase power. Not enough time is there !!

How well does the snowblower work in a deep snow? Basically every antique tractor I know of simply goes too fast and the PTO goes to slow for a snowblower.

I have yet to be able to snuff the tractor out , CA has a hand clutch , it’s not a wet clutch though so you can’t slip it. if it does begin to plug up I pull in the hand clutch , let it clear and continue on. The hand clutches on the Allis tractors are pivotal when using PTO implements.
