Hello there! I love my Fatsias, and a couple of years on from this video and I’m pleased to say they lived to tell the tale 😂❤️😊

Hi guys, I came across the video and found urs and I really liked it. The garden is magnificent. I love the Japonica. It's such a big bloom leaf plant. But O e question I have is that I have a balcony south facing g and I have 2 both in large plant baskets, do u think that's alright for them?
@TheEnthusiasticGardener4 ай бұрын
@P.willow hi there and I’d say yes! They are really tough plants and of course they are going to get big, but I have 3 in containers and they’re fine. As long as we remember that containers rely on us to provide all their water, they should be quite happy. And I have Fatsias in shade as well as sun too so they’re very versatile. 😊❤️

@@TheEnthusiasticGardener Hi lovelies.. I have one in the sun and one in dappled sun/shade area ido this sometimes to see what the plant really likes if I'm not sure. They both look fine 2wks later and are not showing signs of distress 😊 Thanks soo much for the advice. I'm looking g into getting some bamboo also. I have loved Japanese maple and bamboo for a long time they're my favourite along with fern. My next green friend will hopefully be a lovely big bushy Bamboo to grow nice and tall. Have a lovely week. X

That is such a good test, planting them in different positions to see how they do! And I have to agree with you about bamboo, so many people shy away from them in case they’re invasive don’t they? But not all varieties are. I think they’re beautiful 🤩
