Thank you for posting this. I watched the pretest section and will have to come back. As a former chow rescue/handler/judge, I had no idea how easy it would be for me to learn the cavalier standards because I already know the terms and body sections or muscles etc. I have no intention to breed or judge cavaliers - I'm apparently just going to collect and live them. With only 4 coat colors, it's way too easy to think, "well, I've never noticed how pretty the XXX is, now I need one of those" 😂

I am so happy that you posted this. Your evaluation gives me an objective idea of why my pet Cavalier (Ruthy) was not selected as a show dog! I so appreciate your academic approach to judging.
